gPrisma guys, It's Tuesday which is a day for #TeleopTips Here are a few teleoperation tips for the @PrismaXai Robot Control Center, especially now that the new arms have been added. Teleoperation has become a lot smoother, and these are some things that have helped me. - As an Amplifier, I usually use the Training Arm Black. From my experience, it feels easier to lift objects and gives a smoother control experience compared to the Training Arm Gold. - Another important tip is about the device you use for teleoperation. I’ve noticed that when I use my laptop, the camera sometimes shows a blank screen. But when I use my phone, the camera works much more consistently and I can clearly see what the robot is doing. Because of this, teleoperation tends to be easier on a phone. If you want to avoid guesswork and actually see the objects you are moving, using a phone for your teleoperation sessions can make a big difference. - For Innovators, I recommend using the Arena Arm. The Arena arm gives extra points when you move objects (plushies) from one side to the other. One important thing to remember is how points are calculated. At the end of the teleoperation session, the system basically takes a snapshot of where the plushies are. Your points depend on how many plushies end up on each side. For example, if you move a plushie from left to right, that helps your score. But if you then move that same plushie back from right to left, it cancels out your effort. By the time the final snapshot is taken, the plushie is back in its original position, which means it counts as if it was never moved at all. So when you move an object to the other side, leave it there so it counts toward your final score. Those are my Teleop Tuesday tips. Also, don’t forget to join the Discord today for the PrismaX Trivia and other community events. Discord link🔗: discord.gg/prismaxai It’s a great place to learn more about teleoperation, connect with other users, and stay updated on what’s happening in the community. Let there be robots.
