Sadly another program didn't deem him worthy of help... This guy ran at nearly every track in the country and has now found a home at Rerun.

@Rachian14148371 We serve at 7am and 4pm with hay snacks 4 times per day with a chiffonade of alfalfa at 10pm. Well water is available 24/7

@lisaky72 @MarieGaddy4 The h/j shows in the US used to be dominated by the TB. Now people want imported warmbloods. Give me a TB any day - they’re smart, willing, and love to work for their riders.

@Linda29461 The industry did the right thing. He was responsibly retired. It was another program that only want "flawless" horses that turned him away.

@lisaky72 He’s just beautiful! The whole industry needs federal oversight to make it do what is morally right. It has to be legislated at this point.

@Wintermix1 About 45 mins south. Rerun actually started as an extension of the Kentucky Humane Society.

@Cowgyrlie We are one of the oldest TB aftercare programs in the country, formed in 1998, and we are the largest rehab and adoption program in NY and the northeast.

@Jimfromthebx He wasn't thrown away. He was responsibly retired however the first program that was contacted wouldn't take him. I don't see the point of having an aftercare program if one cherry picks

@lisaky72 You people are Amazing!!! I'm having a call with Lyda Hill (Hunt Oil) next week. This is a great project for her to fund. Being from Texas, she loves horses. The movie she funded for us, "The Julia Set," is getting rave reviews since Chase Infiniti got praises at the Oscars.

Our 35th intake of 2026. Thats basically 3 new horses a week.

@bewitched0077 We are in the frozen tundra called upstate NY. We like snow because its better footing than frozen ground...however the snow has melted and the ground is like permafrost lol

Didn't realize you were in a "frozen ground" area. I've had Tbreds in Ocala, FL and Arizona so clearly a different environment than wherever you are and we pulled shoes as part of their rehab but totally forgot that not everyone lives in a warmer climate and environment. And thank goodness he is sound as many are not when coming off the track with that many races under their belt. We the public, of course, only wish the best for these horses and thank you so much for what you do and the process to give them new and better lives. The horses all deserve a second chance!
