@sappholives83 My dad also claims to be a lesbian trapped in a man’s body. He thinks it’s a great icebreaker. 😅😭

@SaltyGoat17 There’s a huge one plastered on the outside of a mental health clinic in our town. You can’t make this up.

@rattletrap1776 is the only person I follow. After meeting him in person, you would have no reason to listen to anyone else. Thank you, Derek.
We are all rooting for you in more ways than one. 😘

She tore the first time and was willing to do it without intervention. It’s just frustrating when they ignore mom’s wishes.
She would’ve been better doing a home birth. She said the next l&d will be for sure.
I’m so happy you and your daughter had good care and they respected her birth plan. It’s always a pleasure when doctors take your wishes seriously 🤍
English

Yeah, that is horrible. Although my daughter‘s birth experience was completely natural, they didn’t even ask her about having an episiotomy and she ended up tearing really badly a third-degree tear and now has a lot of problems so I see both sides of it but doing anything without the mother‘s permission is inexcusable!
English

My daughter labored at home until her water broke so we went to the hospital for the delivery. She was 10 cm. The doctor she had told her 3 months prior to schedule a c-section. She refused to do so knowing her body. When the doctor came into the room, she was on all 4’s ready to push in that position. The nurses and doctor started to panic bc they couldn’t get the babies HR on the monitor. Made her lay down and as she was pushing, the doctor said “this baby is too big, she needs an episiotomy.” I said absolutely not. My daughter looked at me completely helpless San as the doctor grabbed the scissors ✂️ I said, “You’re not even going to numb her first??”
She started to give her a local and didnt when wait for it to kick in before cutting her. My daughter was so upset and in visible pain from being slit open.
My grandson was born at 5lbs 7oz.
She could’ve done it without any intervention.
The doctor we got had a birth gone wrong a few years ago where the baby got stuck and died in the canal. Now she treats every patient as though that will happen. She needs her license revoked. She’s unfit to be an OB.
English

@lisamarsillo I’m sorry that they had that experience. My daughter just gave birth about eight months ago and they absolutely listened to every birth plan things that she had in writing. You just have to be so specific nowadays with anything to do with the medical industry.

@EstieMaddie I recommend having a lawyer as your birthing coach. 🫠

@SamaHoole You will NEVER find these cheese products in my home. If it’s not stamped on the side and I’m not grating it myself….it doesn’t exist to me.
English

"100% Grated Parmesan Cheese."
That's what the label says. That is, in fact, the literal text the manufacturer has chosen to place on the front of the package.
The 100% refers to a feeling, not a chemistry.
In 2012, the FDA raided Castle Cheese in Pennsylvania, a major supplier of grated cheese to American supermarkets. The 100% Parmesan they were selling was 0% Parmesan. It was a blend of cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, and powdered cellulose, the last of which is, in industrial terms, wood pulp. Or to be more specific: fine fibres extracted from the cell walls of trees and processed into a flowable powder used to stop the cheese from clumping in the shaker.
The Castle Cheese executive went to prison. The company went bankrupt. The practice continued.
In 2016, Bloomberg commissioned independent lab testing of major American "100% Parmesan" products. Kraft's product contained 3.8% cellulose. Some Walmart and Albertsons store brands tested as high as 9%. The accepted industry threshold for "anti-clumping" cellulose use is 2 to 4%.
The cheese is partly wood.
The Italians, who have been making the actual cheese for a thousand years, can only sell their version under EU protection as Parmigiano Reggiano: three ingredients, milk, rennet, salt, aged in a 75-pound wheel for at least twelve months in a specific geographic region with the name burned into the rind in dotted pin lettering.
The American "Parmesan" can be anything. The American "Parmesan" can be sawdust.
The Italian cheese costs more.
The Italian cheese is more.
The price of food is sometimes the price of food being food.

@VoicesUnheard @SeeTheBigDipper Unfortunately as a bartender, I’ve met crack heads that were nurses. Made me second guess going to a hospital for care knowing I’m the sober one.
English

This woman's story gave me chills.
"When my dad was in the ICU, one of his nurses had a Ouija board pocket book sitting openly in a chair facing his room and proudly said she was a “witch.” I prayed hard that she’d be removed from his care… and I never saw her again."
Hospitals can be dangerous if you’re not watching.
Some nurses are incredible. Others are burnt out. A few shouldn’t be there at all.
Never leave your loved ones alone in the hospital!
Be their fierce advocate. Ask questions. Trust your gut. Take notes. Speak up.
Prayer is powerful, but so is your presence.🙏

Her name was Isabella Stroupe.
She was 19. She loved books. Her family called her Bella.
She was tied to a bed with a tow strap and tortured for months in an east Charlotte NC apartment.
Multiple broken bones.
St*b wounds.
R*ped repeatedly.
Her mother said she screamed and screamed when she found out.

People often tell me to “stick to your child sex trafficking advocacy” or “you don’t actually care about that because you attack trans rights”
The most enraging part is, the men that trafficked me used the same arguments to dehumanize me and other girls that are being used to argue men can be women, and deserve our spaces.
You have to dehumanize a group to justify oppressing and harming them like they are less than cattle.
It’s absolutely connected. And it’s absolutely psychological abuse - the thing traffickers love and relish in the most.
They *love* the pain, despair, agony, and literal violence they inflict. It brings them joy. Euphoria, you might say.
Until you have been a slave to adult men who can charm every other adult while you see their real face in private, I ask you, again - listen to survivors.
Trans people can exist without calling themselves the opposite sex or having the rights of an existing class. They just don’t want to.
Because it’s a predator’s rights movement.
