I totally understand how you feel. We initially built for a crypto audience that we tried to get into productivity. It didn’t work because crypto audience’s pb is how to get rich fast without working. Then we pivoted and changed the audience to target students. Those users REALLY care about productivity, that’s why we get the growth. And now we’re trying to educate them to crypto (basically the reverse of the initial plan). The new approach leads to way better results as we now have ~200k new users / months. We’re in a unique position to onboard millions of students to web3 and that personally makes me extremely bullish. But I understand the confusion as we are changing a lot of stuff to make the app fit the mainstream. I hope this clarifies our vision, and you all understand that you’ve been early on potentially the next Duolingo. If it’s not clear, please come to our AMA next week and ask your questions.
