Welcome to the West LA Plaza and Mall! Well, its remnants... In 1966 Purdue Ave was converted to an outdoor mall at West LA Civic Center. Fountains, dancing & "Music at the Mall" lured folks for a few years but it couldn't sustain. It's been a desert of concrete most of my life.

Would people be interested in a popup art show where all the works are vacant housing/hotel units in the City of LA drawn/painted by artists living on the streets to raise awareness of the individual situations keeping people from occupying them…& possibly held @ each location??

The Council President kicked off todays meeting (the only opportunity to address the full council on the budget) by announcing that they were cutting off public comment and would not be hearing from those stuck in line. For context, they spent 2 hours on presentations Friday.

City Councilmembers are so privileged that they cannot even imagine the sacrifices that constituents make to be able to give public comment at City Hall The entire process is a total pain in the ass and what do constituents get? 15mins of getting ignored by Councilmembers
