I am a US citizen & Surgeon who took care of the Boston Maraton Bombing victims in 2013. I paid for 7 years to own a small apartment in downtown #Beirut for my 3 kids to enjoy summers there. Today, #Israel reduced my dream home to rubble, with american weapons, paid by my taxes.

Very sad to share Brian died on 5th March. It was peaceful but sudden. He was an incredible human; warm, wickedly funny, courageous, with a huge sense of morality. His beloved wife, Maggie, family and friends are devastated but very grateful for all the love in his memory

@mimigk1492 My Trust say that they are committed to being inclusive for neurodiverse staff, but in reality they are not. As a NQN the only adjustment that was made, was that I was allowed to write my notes in one of the quiet rooms during my lunch break!

I am in the hospital again, with a #smallbowelobstruction, again. It's pretty sad when I call 911 and say, "I need an ambulance to take me to the hospital for a #SBO & I need an #NGtube.

@lliheus Thanks, I have discussed this with my doctor and my pain doc. The pain doc diagnosed them. I only get them at night when I am in the safety of home. The dr thinks my body fights the pain all day and then when safe my body relaxes and the pain takes over causing the attacks

I just had quite a prolonged vasovagal attack. My colour goes from my face. I go grey and slip in and out of consciousness. My partner J has to mind me, and Billy (the dog) licks my face when I pass out. This is all down to the severity of my pain #ChronicPain

X can be a strange place. Two people who I interacted with (one an awful lot) over the last few years, just suddenly stopped posting and interacting a few months ago, with no warning. I ain't into new year resolutions, but I do hope they are both doing well
