@emollick The companies I’ve worked with have two fears that are stopping them for actually implementing deep ai workflows. Fear of frontier labs stealing their IP and costs. These labs pushes tokenmaxxing so much but most intelligent CEOs see that as a way to lock them in.

Very few people know the amount of useful work that the current models can do in Code/Codex/etc. with the right setup This is not a "rah rah you are so early" post, this is a "AI companies are doing a really bad job explaining what their systems actually do in a clear way" post.

@MatijaSosic @MartinSosic Yup full desktop or iOS/android maybe using expo. Full stack recipe could be basically a full spec file that has everything in it for a food delivery app or small business crm /payment stack. So I can basically define eveything inside the spec file :)

My annual MRI scan gives me a USB stick with the data, but you need this commercial windows software to open it. Ran Claude on the stick and asked it to make me a html based viewer tool. This looks... way better.

It's Elon Musk's jab at Sam Altman, referencing Apple's July 2026 lawsuit against OpenAI. Apple alleges OpenAI systematically poached its engineers and during recruitment asked them to bring/share confidential info, prototypes, drawings & trade secrets on upcoming hardware (phone-related tech) to accelerate OpenAI's own AI device efforts. This ties into Sam Altman's hardware push (e.g., Jony Ive collab). It's unproven allegations in a filed complaint — OpenAI hasn't been found guilty of anything. Classic escalation in their long-running feud.

Trump just showed Canada exactly what leverage looks like. Canada financed the Gordie Howe Bridge. The U.S. refused to pay, delayed the opening, then walked away with 50% of toll revenue and influence over future toll increases. We paid for the asset. America negotiated the upside. Canada lost the deal.

The video is admittedly pure polemic. But given the EU's "chat control" proposal, I am currently left with nothing but polemic. I am frustrated.

Can't believe I'm about to defend Carney, but it has to be said. Blaming him for this past year of weak-to-zero growth is dumb. The past 10 years of Canada's GDP growth have been 'fake'. It was due to immigration, which accounted for 75% of the growth in headline real GDP. Carney has ended the open-borders experiment, which is a good thing, and I applaud him. But that means that growth will be tied to productivity growth, which is in the toilet. Canada's productivity growth is in the toilet, in part because of many of the policies Carney championed, namely, the destruction of the global fossil fuel industry. If you are going to slag him off, I implore you to be more precise.

One problem with multiplayer AI is that you want to share agents, but keep individual responsibility E.g. we share a coding agent but each get our own credit for the git commits So we've added user-specific secrets to Paperclip Shared Agents & Skills, individual attribution

GPT-5.6-Sol one-shotted this voxel-based Manhattan. Just look at the precision... it's insane. It ran for almost a week, completely autonomously, to get the job done.

I was clearly wrong about Anthropic. They are obviously currently the leader in AI. No company has released a model as good as Mythos/Fable and they will undoubtedly have Mythos 2 ready soon. And I would never cut them off in a way that hurt them badly, even as a competitor. That’s not my style. Tesla open sourced its patents and we made the Supercharger network available to all competitors, even though we could have made it a walled garden. SpaceX launches competing satellite systems with no increase in price or use of unfair terms. Even my worst enemies can attack me on this platform. …

SpaceXAI now has a legitimate frontier model that competes with opus 4.8. Also, Anthropic is completely reliant on the compute rented from SpaceXAI If Elon wanted to kill anthropic, he could. Iirc the compute lease was short term, 6 months from May without renewal promise. GG

Dropped a new Timeline feature in the latest version of Paperclip Now you can get a visual "gantt chart" overview of what your agents actually did (and brag about how many tokens you use 📎)
