@barbedquill @chris_mcsweeny @kelvmackenzie I’ve got absolutely NO problem with 20mph zones around schools, but on roads which are 2 or 3 lanes wide and which used to be 30 or 40mph is a different story.

Psychiatrist Dr Gary Duffield has picked up 9 points by doing 22mph twice and 25mph twice ( one speed awareness course) in London. At 67 he tells The Telegraph he’s no boy racer pointing out his Prius doesn’t have cruise control and you can’t spend all your time looking at the speedo. The sooner there’s a decent mayor for London the faster the speed limit will return to 30mph.

@chris_mcsweeny @llorndar @kelvmackenzie You have to speedo watch, ride the brakes and generally make more of a concerted effort to stay under 20mph than you do at 30mph. People who've had long term clean licenses are getting caught out for a few mph over the limit. They are not the problem.
