BREAKING: The Australian government chose to arrest Ben Roberts-Smith in Sydney rather than his home state of Queensland because the government prosecution wanted less white Australians on the jury - “a more diverse jury pool.”
So in practice the Australian government want Hamas and Hezbollah supporters from Lakemba and West Sydney to sit and judge Australia’s most decorated veteran from the Afghan War.
This explains why the Australian government rejected Ben Roberts-Smith’s repeated offers over multiple years to peacefully hand himself in. Instead they chose to arrest him on a plane in Sydney in front of his children and the wider public - a calculated humiliation ritual.
Sydney Morning Herald: “One well-placed source suggested investigators might have waited to arrest Roberts-Smith in NSW because they wanted access to a wider and more diverse jury pool” than more conservative Queensland, where he lives.

Ben was publicly arrested at Sydney airport in front of his children.
In doing so, authorities chose to inflict maximum distress in front of his two young daughters.
It is particularly concerning that media, including Nine News, appeared to have been notified in advance & were there waiting to capture his arrest.
This is how the Australian Government treats our Veterans.

Australia is the largest importer of diesel fuel in the world. It also holds the lowest fuel reserves of any IEA member nation — dead last out of 28 developed economies. Japan stockpiles 260 days. We're at ~26 and falling.
Six of eight refineries have closed since 2013. We import over 90% of our refined fuel, mostly through a single chokepoint that's been closed for 37 days.
I built fuelaustralia.org to track what's actually happening — in real time, from primary sources:
— Live AIS tanker tracking (750+ vessels, 40+ confirmed inbound)
— Government reserve data direct from DCCEEW Power BI
— 90-day depletion projections with vessel delivery modelling
— Daily intelligence briefings synthesised from 80+ sources
— Cargo type inference, multi-source vessel fusion, confidence grading
— 28 evidence-backed policy solutions stress-tested against expert review
Every data point sourced. Every claim confidence-graded. Independent and non partisan.
Follow @FuelAustralia for daily briefings.

Argentine President Javier Milei: “I thought being on the left was a mental problem. The empirical evidence is so overwhelming that it never worked anywhere, and they refused to accept it.
“But what I discovered is that being on the left is a disease of the soul. The left is built on envy, hatred, resentment, and unequal treatment under the law. They are very violent, and since they have no way or arguments to answer, they go for physical violence.”

Here's the part nobody's talking about in the fuel crisis.
It doesn't matter how many tankers we divert to Australia if there's nowhere to put the fuel when it arrives.
Our total national fuel storage: ~7.5 billion litres. The IEA 90-day obligation requires ~14.5 billion. That's a 7 billion litre gap that existed long before Hormuz closed.
The crisis didn't create the shortage — it exposed a storage deficit we've been ignoring for a decade.
Building permanent tank farms takes 3-5 years and costs $1,500-3,000 per cubic metre. Too slow.
The fastest fix? Industrial fuel bladders.
Military-grade pillow tanks — up to 760,000 litres each — deployed on flat ground in weeks. Unused airfields, mine sites, military bases. The ADF already uses them. NATO uses them. The mining industry uses them across the Pilbara.
3,000 bladders = ~2.3 billion litres of emergency storage. That's ~14 extra days of national fuel supply. Deployable in 3-6 months.
Cost: $150-300 million. All in.
For context, the fuel excise cut alone costs $1.5 billion per month. We're spending more on a discount at the bowser every two weeks than it would cost to build the emergency storage that prevents the next crisis.
It's a rubber bag on a concrete pad. It's not glamorous. But it's the only thing that moves fast enough.
I've modelled the full storage gap at fuelaustralia.org/bridge-the-gap

Had to deal with glm5 for a day and yes it’s far far from opus. Just using it when ran out of Claude usage and every time then it seems it would be better just to take the day off
Good for small tasks maybe but understand a repo and improve it without code debt they are not there yet it seems
English

@weswinder Absolutely terrible take -- These models are too buggy to even review code, let alone write correct code (I've evaluated on their max api plans v/s Codex and Claude). Only minimax is slightly decent, Kimi is eager and terrible as is GLM.
English

this is literally the best deal on the market rn for an ai coding plan
> $10/month
> kimi k2.5
> minimax m2.7
> glm 5
wayyyy more usage than $20 plans with big labs
super underrated imo
dax@thdxr
we've increased opencode go's limits by 3x - still $10/month

AI triggers something deeply human
You can do it all all on your own
Then you do it. You realize the power. You love it
And when the feeling start to fade you realize you are all alone
And everything you have done will be useless and forgotten in a year
But the moments with friends and families with memories that could have last forever, they never happened

Australian Gov’t Redacts Every Single Word of 78-Page Report on Covid Vaccine Batch Tests:
tga.gov.au/sites/default/…
Nothing says transparency quite like 78 fully blacked out pages.
That pesky bad batch data ...
reflects very badly on good manufacturing practices I would suspect.
@BarryYoungNZ and @LizGunnNZ and myself raised serious concerns about batch safety based on his data ....and the authorities went apeshit. ( A law fare attack on Barry and massive clean-up operation )

Tonight Labor passed a bill to subsidise the importation of oil from overseas.
Because of Labor's war on fossil fuels, AUSTRALIAN taxes are being used to support OVERSEAS production and jobs.
Labor refused to support our amendments to support the production of DOMESTIC oil and gas jobs.
Why is Labor using our taxes to support overseas jobs but not Australian jobs?
