I was reading a book on Saudi history and came across it. I don't suggest reading books from the kuffar as this author tended to degrade the Hay'ah at that time by saying they were "oppressing women". We know nothing but their sincerity on enforcing the Shariah.

I don’t know him personally and I haven’t heard any of his lectures in my life but his book which I explained is a good one. Such people who warn against other for teaching his book are making them guilty by association which is pretty stupid! Prophet Yusuf was in jail for a number of years. Imam Ahmed and Ibn Taimiyah were in jail for a number of years! Should we not learn from their teachings? Blind followers should get eye surgery to correct their blindness and leave others alone! They are not our mothers to tell us what to do and what not to do.
