🚨TODAY: Federal Grand Jury Indicts Former FBI Director James Comey for Threats to Harm President Trump
“Threatening the life of the President of the United States is a grave violation of our nation’s laws,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. “The grand jury returned an indictment alleging James Comey did just that, at a time when this country has witnessed violent incitement followed by deadly actions against President Trump and other elected officials. The temperature needs to be turned down, and anyone who dials it up and threatens the life of the President will be held accountable.”

Trump very publicly has said he thought his initial strikes would last a few days and the regime would fall or he’d get negotiating leverage. He expressed extreme surprise when that didn’t happen.
Being wrong then is one thing. Doing the exact same thing again 2 months later and still thinking the same thing is so monumentally stupid I can’t even get my head around it.
Iran has said if the U.S. attacks again they’re going to go bananas on us and our allies. Does Trump even know they’ve promised that?

That was especially true on Friday, when the Pakistanis were in Tehran for talks with the Iranians. As the meeting played out, Trump took to Truth Social and spoke with several reporters, claiming Iran had agreed to a host of provisions that sources familiar with the talks said had not yet been finalized.
He also asserted that Tehran had agreed to many of the most contentious US demands and declared an imminent end to the war.

“The Iranians didn’t appreciate POTUS negotiating through social media and making it appear as if they had signed off on issues they hadn’t yet agreed to, and ones that aren’t popular with their people back home,” one person familiar with the talks tells me, adding that the Iranians are particularly concerned about appearing to look weak.
It was unclear as of Monday afternoon whether any advisers had shared concerns with the president that his penchant for posting could be damaging to the talks. By midday, he had posted multiple times on Truth Social about the war, totaling more than 900 words.
