In a racially motivated attack, Tobi Omoteso was “hunted down” and attacked by a man with a baseball bat last Saturday in Old Cratloe rd area,Limerick. On Saturday, he was driving out of his estate when he beeped at a car that was ‘parked recklessly.’ Despite Tobi not being the only one to beep his annoyance at the car, the driver followed Toby and crashed into him on the Old Cratloe Rd followed by baseball bat attack. After going to hospital, Tobi detailed, the eyesight in his left eye is ‘actually gone’ and will be ‘for the foreseeable future’ at the very least. A fundraiser has been set up to cover his surgery costs and so far 55k euros was raised out of 60k euro target.
