That's why we need a bipartisan independent commission under the 25th Amendment to make sure this president—and all future presidents—are fit to discharge the duties of their office. Congress should pass H.R. 8275 to fill this constitutional void.

Trump's actions and behavior have been dangerous and damaging. The 25th amendment has a provision that allows Congress to look into whether the President is fit for office. I helped introduce a bill to establish this commission.
