@ChrisWittyngham Modern youth sports has kids’ body destroyed before they make the league. The rise of specialization in one sport at a young age is the cause of it. It’s proven that doing multiple sports as a kid is better for a kid’s body and help result in lower injuries as they get older.

The youth sports industrial complex affects every sport. Prioritizing making money over creating environments for kids to have fun and develop. Any sport in which the US has to seriously compete with the rest of the world will see them fall behind in years to come
