My favourite sleeper of the off-season: Taylan May Many are going to be put off him from that round 1 bye, but it’s very clear to me that he’ll be in the conversation of CTW keepers by seasons end, so why not lock him in early. After a string of off-field incidents in the last 2 years, May returned to rugby league mid-season with the West Tigers, and brained it straight away. A 70.7 avg to finish 2025. However, because he played only 7 games, SuperCoach have applied a 10% discount on his price to start 2026, making him 7pts undervalued. Then, the scoring methods changed. Try assists will be allocated in a completely different way (decided by the last passer). According to SuperCoach’s old scoring method, Taylan May had 0 try assists and 1 linebreak assist. Under the new scoring: 3 try assists and 5 line break assists. Scoring changes like this mean that Taylan May now averaged 81.67 in 2025, giving coaches 18 points in value, for the same performances. Why are we passing that up? Because of a round 1 bye? Good things come to those who wait.
