Doueihi believed he would be inserted back into the halves, and was surprised when Marshall told him he would potentially come off the interchange bench as a substitute for No.13 Alex Twal. Tigers CEO Shaun Mielekamp confirmed the withdrawal, saying the club agreed to Doueihi’s request for time off after Benji made the selection call.
