@ad48197 @Tushar15 Who is spewing venom? I don't have full context admittedly but didn't he say it's a great deal for south states?

@Tushar15 If you were South Indian would you act the same way? Instead of finding a peaceful solution, you are creating division among Hindus. If you have a problem with certain individuals, then specifically point them out. Why are you spewing venom on the whole South?"Super Deal"?

SUPER PLOT TWIST: Amit Shah says he's willing to insert 50% proportion clause in an amended bill. Willing to adjourn the Lok Sabha for an hour. That would mean changing Article 81, and forever moving on from 'one person, one vote, one value'. Super deal for southern states.

@ChangS69585 @Lollatanapo It's not necessarily a bad process as a death penalty is not something that can be reversed later if new evidence is found so the state must be very careful. But unfortunately it emboldens the criminals.

@ChangS69585 @Lollatanapo Acc to laws here, any kind of death penalty sentence must go till supereme court where I think they can appeal at least once again with a different judge and then they can also appeal to the president and the sentence is carried out only if president explicitly rejects the appeal

@SaysSimulation For the U.S. to impound every ship Iran allows to pass will solve this. All are free to travel or none. Any nation that negotiates a solo deal with Iran is in league with Iran, and subject to interdiction.

@cremieuxrecueil @balajis The only reason you dont see an increase in Mexico is because theres a 80% gas tax, that the goverment reduces when price spikes to keep it steady. I wonder what other countries are in a similar scenario.

@bekhayalime "lesson of the Gita isn’t about promoting war it’s " Lmao what? The Gita literally starts with encouraging Arjun to fight against his family.

I know that the Bhagavad Gita was recited on the battlefield, and that context is important but the lesson of the Gita isn’t about promoting war it’s about guidance, clarity, and making the right choices. The problem arises when its verses are used to incite anger or manipulate

Intentions are what truly matter. Nolan quoted the Bhagavad Gita to convey Oppenheimer’s remorse over creating the nuclear bomb, while Aditya Dhar used the Gita quote to stir anger among people. Similarly, films like Swades, Lagaan, and The Legend of Bhagat Singh referenced religious texts, but their purpose was never to provoke anger.
Abhishek@MSDianAbhiii

Christopher Nolan can include a Bhagavad Gita quote in his films, but when Aditya Dhar does the same, it suddenly becomes an issue. Interesting double standards.

@AgarwalAtik @siddharth_iitm RO strips out all minerals and TDS is very low, which is not recommended for long term use. Similarly, RO does not kill germs, merely filters it, unless you have a UV module as well.

When I shifted to Koramangala, Bangalore, I observed a visible decline in my ability to function at work. I couldn't do deep work, focus or handle stress. I also observed that I wasn't enjoying my meals as much. Tried many things - reduced coffee, eliminated milk from diet, increased workout, sun exposure, etc. Nothing worked. Then, spent some time for a work event at a hotel where I consumed only Bisleri water. And found myself to be very energetic. Gut and mental health felt better. It has been 4 years since that event and I have been consuming only Bisleri water. The 20L cans are quite affordable.
Gabbar@GabbbarSingh

Completely shifted to Bottled mineral water. Marked improvement in Gut health. No change in any other diet.

Builder .ai raised $450 million. Told investors their AI could build apps automatically. No humans needed. Investors believed them. Poured in hundreds of millions. Reality? 700 engineers in India doing the work manually. Pretending to be AI. Every single app "built by AI" was actually built by a human in an office in India. For years nobody found out. Until they filed for bankruptcy in 2025. $450 million. 700 humans. Zero actual AI. The biggest AI startup fraud nobody talks about.

@daddynohara Furthermore, the only reason he knows the person's original salary of 21 is because they asked for salary slips in order to low ball as much as possible. Why not just pay whatever is in the budget upfront.

I had an offer from an incredibly well-funded startup in early 2020 ($150M+ raised). I was supposed to join their ML team in April. I had already resigned and was serving my notice when COVID hit. HR called and said they were deferring my offer. Assured me the offer was safe and that they just wanted me to join once offices reopened. For the next couple of months we stayed in touch. Every conversation repeated the same thing: the offer is safe. The market was dead, so I spent the time doing research with an ex-advisor. We finally set my joining date: June 1st. In the last two weeks of May I had multiple calls with my future manager. We discussed MacBook configs, projects I’d work on, brainstormed approaches. I even shared my shipping address for the laptop. Two days before joining they rescinded the offer. That day I learned something important: Your employer will not hesitate to rescind an offer or lay you off if it benefits them. You shouldn’t feel guilty about optimizing for yourself either. Everyone is optimizing for their own interests. It’s a ruthless market. An employer has 100 / 1000 / 10000 employees. You only have one job.
Jasveer Singh@jasveer10

Interviewed a backend developer. Guy was at 21 LPA. We offered 28 LPA, roughly a 33 percent hike. He agreed and confirmed joining. Yesterday he emailed saying he got a 32 LPA offer elsewhere and now wants 36 LPA from us. Nonsense. Why agree in the first place. If you are still shopping offers just say it upfront. We stopped interviewing other candidates and waited through the notice period for the joining date. Now two days before joining, he came back with a new price tag.

Hindus must remember that only our Devi-Devtas are eternal. They were before us, they will remain after us. Every human you raise to the pedestal of divinity, however powerful, popular, or persuasive will disappear. History has a ruthless habit of humbling such false gods, for truth always triumphs. If not today, then tomorrow. That is the Sanatan order. So, anchor your devotion in the eternal, not in the mortal. P.S. The profound introduction from Arun Shourie’s ‘Worshipping False Gods’ hits different after watching this excellent & brave video by Team @upword_ & @infinitchy “A nation forges deities in its imaginings, in its sacred literature, in wood and stone. The forms it gives them, the forces it has them embody, the virtues with which it endows them reflect the accumulated experience of the nation, the insights of its seers, they answer to its needs. When the nation is overpowered physically, when it is vanquished spiritually and intellectually, it is made to shift, and per force it actually shifts those representations from public places and cabines them within private dwellings. Next, within those dwellings it herds them into almirahs. Soon enough it is made to feel ashamed of, and it actually becomes ashamed of those deities and representations. Eventually it repudiates its own gods, its own tradition, its own history and experience, and starts worshipping the gods of the conquerors.”

'Phule's Dark Legacy' - the 1st film in our 'Chronicles' series. It shows how a missionary‑backed, British‑loyal “reformer” turned a repackaged victim story into an aggressive anti‑Brahmin ideology – the template that shapes our street politics today. youtu.be/DgIdRztL_-Q

I don't trust FSSAI or any dairy. That’s why my papa drives 19 km every day to get fresh milk from a tabela. Then I make butter, chhas, and ghee from it. We buy 4 liters of cow milk daily, and it makes about 3 kilos of pure ghee per month.

I had to uber/lyft later at night due to a flight. My dad asked if I could request a female just to be safer. I knew it was possible on Lyft, so I looked into it. I decided I felt safer w/a man than having a “nonbinary” option. Where I could end up w a man who is delusional enough to think he is a woman. Lyfts idea of “inclusion” actually just removes what could be a safe option.
