And the roads are terrible every where here in Whittier CA. The 605 freeway is unstable and has uneven roads on over passes and pot holes the streets n Whittier are so bad you have to drive slow. Except for I the rich part streets are smooth tax hikes are ridiculous

@elonmusk ok. Ow I have an update on the tax hike they are trying to pass with measure ER. It will make taxes in Whittier CA go up to 11 % that's just insane. California charges about .80 ¢¢. Per gallonof gas for road upkeep and about $66 per registration for the same reason

@Mackerm2 @CityAttorneyLA Yes, Measure ER passed in 2024 allows the ethics commission to retain to outside counsel for limited enforcement purposes. This is why they now have 3 firms they can turn to as needed as it relates to enforcement matters (you kinda need a bench w/ different areas of expertise).
