This whole thread just made me realise why I never followed through with clinical psych. It's not client-centred. I think I knew this intuitively but I can see it so clearly reading this thread. Thanks @sandyosullivan hope you find what you're looking for

I know the clinical psych area is fraught but I'm finding it really hard to find people who don't hitch their wagon to a single 'system' and approach that they fully believe in regardless of client's needs. Any suggestions (fully online is all that will work for me).

@AngelaSterritt I reckon white is fine, my description of myself changes yearly, the more I learn. I'm Anglo/Chinese/Italian from a family of settlers and migrants. I'm olive-skinned & sometimes the subject of racism (strange as that seems) and I benefit from white privilege. So yeah, white.
