Actually, yes, the violent addicts who discard their needles everywhere, steal whatever they can get their hands on, and assault and intimidate others, really do *not* belong. They should be shunned, not coddled. Anti-social behaviour has consequences.
long live empathy@longlivempathy

@VI_Hillbilly @AdamZivo Referring to community members as "hobos" and presuming they do not belong should do the trick, well done!

@longlivempathy @AdamZivo Good, it's the only thing that works. I'm tired of fighting the drug hobos who got bussed here from other towns for access to the public spaces that my local property taxes paid for.

@AdamZivo Despite your efforts to manifest it, you have no evidence that I am part of this perceived "movement", nor that it exists at all. All I see are many people driving to tackle a profoundly complex health issue.

We absolutely *should* stigmatize addicts who pass out on playgrounds where small children play. Your movement’s push to “destigmatize” drug use has been a social disaster.
long live empathy@longlivempathy

@AdamZivo This platform, and most current dominant media narratives, provide abundant confirmation that stigma against drug use (and particularly those who use illicit drugs) is alive and well.

@NVanCaroline Are you aware that the vast amount of everyone's time and resources in substance use care in this province is devoted to treatment and recovery? Please don't use media narratives to determine the relative magnitude of efforts and investments.

It’s time to end the NDP’s radical drug experiments. Restore safety to our streets and health to our citizens. Under my leadership, BC will focus on getting addicts into treatment and recovery.

@iainblackbc @CityofVancouver But tools to address drug cartels, the constant stream of new, terrifying contaminants in the drug supply are none of your concern? The devastation you see on the street is caused by organized crime. In this city, is it easier to blame health care, vs. money launderers?

Not on my watch. @cityofvancouver voted to close the injection site. The NDP ignored their decision. Let me be clear: “Safe supply”, decriminalization, safe injection sites…all gone once I am premier. Time to take back our Main Streets, province-wide. nationalpost.com/opinion/adam-z…

@AdamZivo I was walking home after the movies on Friday night. Walked right by the site. There’s already an existing homeless service right there. The area does not feel safe already.

The B.C. NDP wants to reopen an infamously mismanaged Vancouver-based supervised consumption site despite opposition from the local mayor and city council. Yet, such sites have been shown to fuel crime and do not actually save lives. My latest for NP 💡 nationalpost.com/opinion/adam-z…

@HarmanBhanguBC Advancing the opinion that OPS sites are the root cause of crime in neighbourhoods makes me deeply worried for this province. Money launderers and drug cartels must be positively elated that their well-documented dominance is eclipsed by this narrative.

Two overdose prevention sites already turned parts of downtown Vancouver into magnets for disorder, crime, open drug use, and fear for residents and businesses. Now the NDP wants to try it again and expects people to believe “this time will be different.” British Columbians were promised recovery, treatment, and safer communities. Instead, we got FAILED experiments, neighbourhood decay, and politicians hiding behind health authorities while communities deal with the fallout. People have HAD ENOUGH.

@KenSimCity Notably, not pictured in your propaganda is the exterior of 1060 Howe, as the streetscape was largely unchanged before, during and after the period of OPS operation at that location.

The previous OPS sites on Seymour and Howe became focal points for street disorder and open drug use. Rather than continuing to push failed approaches, we need the Province to get people off the streets and into the care they need. Vancouverites deserve better, everyone deserves better.

Today, ABC councillors + Mayor Ken Sim stood up for Downtown Vancouver residents and businesses against a reckless plan to reopen a failed overdose prevention site for the 3rd time just off Granville. People need recovery & treatment on demand. My comments 👇🏻 #vanpoli #bcpoli

@guyfelicella @AdamZivo the sad-(not at all funny) reality is that there is none of the above to bring back - unless @adamzivo wishes to bring back medatomidine-laced drugs which are as far from a joke as you can get.

@AdamZivo Yikes. Moving on from promoting the illegal purchase of prescription drugs to straight-up offering to traffic illegal substances Adam? Gotta be honest, it seems a little out of step with “responsible drug policy”!

@BenMulroneyShow @BenMulroney @MarkJCarney You seem quite amped up on this. I am wondering if you are projecting a wee bit? It's a challenging time, and I think we are all wanting to believe in and protect Canada. There are not perfect or straightforward solutions here. YOUR rhetoric doesn't seem particularly helpful

@elenoresturko Surely, you realize that the pills distributed by corrupt pharmacies are separate from your issues with prescribed drugs diverted by individuals ? If you don't, I suggest you pause your raging to get a better handle on the issues at hand.

Today's decision by the NDP to end their deadly taxpayer funded take-home "safe supply" experiment is an admittance that it has been a disaster. While corrupt pharmacies need to be held accountable, diversion & rampant trafficking of “safe supply” would not exist without radical NDP drug policy. David Eby must launch a public inquiry to hold accountable everyone responsible for unleashing this nightmare on British Columbians. cbc.ca/news/canada/br…

@elenoresturko You are conflating multiple vitally important issues. The leaked presentation is addressing corrupt pharmacies. This is a massively serious issue that needs addressing (leaking mid-investigation docs is probably not helpful)- but tying this to prescribing policies is misleading

Corrupt pharmacies, diversion & rampant trafficking of “safe supply” drugs are the result of the NDP’s bad policy & dangerous ideology. There must be accountability for David Eby’s failed experiment. Fire Bonnie Henry & launch a public inquiry. northernbeat.ca/opinion/gaslig…
