@beckyboopta It's a great idea but from experience I'd embrace the libraries. My daughter bought similar volumes of books (e.g. all in the same series) and has now outgrown YA fiction and has a LOT of books she has not read (but does not yet want to discard).

I teach about Stephen Lawrence in A-level Sociology. That he was a teenager like them, thinking about university. That he was murdered. That it was racist and the 1997 Macpherson report concluded there was institutional racism. That the Casey report in 2023 says it's still there.

Yr 12/13 narrowly missed out on penalties today, after 1-1 draw to Cardiff High in the quarter-finals of the Welsh cup
It was a great advert for schoolboy ⚽️ and congratulations go to CHS.

@loobey41 Hi, part of the refurbishment is a full relay of the carpark and sadly some tree roots are causing damage to the carpark and some had to be removed for a number of other reasons. It is a shame, and hopefully we'll be able to replant some trees elsewhere to make up for it.

I am absolutely gutted that this beautiful tree was cut down yesterday. I had a genuinely emotional reaction when I saw it this morning. Is this part of the refurbishment @LeekesLtd ? 😢

My favourite tree in @LeekesLtd car park Llantrisant. I think it's a liquidambar tree & I think there are a few planted on nearby roundabouts in @RCTCouncil. In a week or so it'll be golden as well as red and green and will glow in the sun.
