@Paul_L_OBrien You have to laugh as crying makes no difference. Myself and my siblings are contending with a mother with Alzheimers (age 90, late stages) and some of the stuff she comes out with is hilarious but heartbreaking.

I washed my mom’s hair today and asked how it looked. She said “Paul does a better job “ I said “Mom, I am Paul…” She said “No you’re not. He’s better looking.” 🤣🤣🤣 Alzheimer’s is brutal, but can be so hilarious.

@LilDrScareAll @MorganBroadcast Agree with this. Our dog needed lump removal surgery and Medivet wanted £1300. We went to Animal Trust as they are not for profit and charged £700 and provided excellent care.

Our 4-year-old cat appears to have broken one of its front legs and is in a lot of pain. When I gently tried to examine it he bit (lightly) me and hissed for the first time (very out of character for him). Local vet closed at midday so was told to call their out-of-hours via @VetsNowUK. They’re demanding £350 just to look at him, with any treatment/medication on top at a premium. These are not people who care about animals. These are people who care about money.

Every day, I see numerous posts about people’s pets passing away and how painful it is. I “like” each post because I feel each pet deserves it. Today it’s my turn. After three weeks, our adopted rescue dog, Max, passed away today. It was the hardest decision we’ve ever had to make, but we know he’s now pain-free and running happily. He was the sweetest, kindest boy. My posts never get many views, but if you could look at the pics of our sweet guy, I’d really appreciate it.
