@emilianoanayar I use bamboo. Have one for uncooked meat/chicken and one for cooked meat and veggies. I also leave them in the sun every now and again for good measure.

So that is the one other really big thing we did. No phones until 13. We had them learn about social media fractional hypnosis. They seen how it affected their friends in hs. Today, they’re adults and hardly use social media and still manage to have very healthy friendships. It’s not a requirement to a fulfilling life. It’s a threat.

@Relentless409 @Oldglorycries See i totally agree with you, but i think our ecosystem is advantageous to children who become driven and problem solving as adults. I hate how we've started prioritizing other areas over academics overall, but i do think thats short lived, and we have a shift coming.

Intentionally refused to raise my children in New Jersey, where I’m from. It’s more than education to me. It’s the culture they blanket the child’s mind with. I’m from it, I know it’s real. New Jersey is isolated and a cultural microcosm that doesn’t translate anywhere else. Purpose driven public education is a fallacy. It’s 100% teacher pension driven decisions, culture and outcomes.

Our magnet and tech schools dominate year after year.. im banking on those plus we are 1st overall in education, but i plan to homeschool as long as possible so my kids dont grow up to be furries. Despite all the issues with corruption and money I still say were the best state to be in. Just got work the system a bit to stay a float. Hubs and i have 5 cottages, we rent 4 and offset our taxable income heavily. In the middle of picking up another cottage now. (Not rich, we know how to fix things so we buy garbage) lol

@Oldglorycries I hear you, but it in reality i feel like people outside the cities try so hard to be city people it also back fires. Ive been outside jersey many times, I cant deal. Brain drain is real, my kids deserve every advantage.

This is just as blasphemous as the picture Trump posted. They put Mary in the place of Christ and give glory to her which is only due to Christ, just like Trump tried to do. They placed HER on the throne, and show HER crushing the serpent, despite Jesus being the one reigning and ruling, and crushing the serpents head. If you had a problem with Trumps meme(which I did) but are okay with this, then you need to reevaluate your beliefs.

NJ is expensive, but generally we have better salaries. Also imo parts of jersey can be affordable. West North jersey you can get into a decent, modest house for 550k and taxes around 8k a year. Jersey is expensive but we literally have everything you could possibly want within 20 min.

@lor_scar North Jersey doesn’t seem affordable. But I could be wrong! It’s just closer to NYC. And the taxes!
