@TheWelshDragon9 I don't feel quite as bad as those times as I don't think we'd have gone on to beat Italy. Had we had the Poland match in the final - gone 1-0 up, conceded late and then lost on pens - that would have been horrific.
English

This still feels worse than 🇮🇪 (2017) and 🇵🇱 (2022) for me.
I think because we were in such a good place. This wasn't a moments team like 2022 Austria & Ukraine.
This team was capable of dominating games and doing well in the WC. The first 60 mins was so easy & we fu*ked it 🥲
The Barry Horns@thebarryhorns
Post Bosnia depression still massive.

@WalesOnline If people are saying, "who is this?!" then they're obviously new to Welsh football. Nia Jones has been commentating for years!

Football banter is one thing, but posting photos of very young children crying is crossing the line. Why don't you do yourself a favour and remove all the photos with children in them. I'm sure what you've done contravenes online guidelines.

All together now … Hahahahahahahaha Enjoy your summers boys 👋🏻 Sheep shagging bastards

@GutoLlewelyn It's tension, particularly when our tempo dropped, and people thinking "I don't think we're going to do this..."
English

@manic278394370 @fcislocheng @thebarryhorns @HartleyR27 The whole, "we can't take a backwards step" is nonsense. If we have to shut up shop for 10-15 minutes, and make a defensive sub, to close a game out, and it means we qualify for the World Cup, then that's massive forwards step in the grand scheme of things.
English

@fcislocheng @thebarryhorns @HartleyR27 Yep this "its the only way I know" is nonsense. Find other ways then!!!

@iwanwroberts @CYMROPORT I can't find the tweet now but @BrynLaw was saying something yesterday about Skysports producers always wanting a Premier League angle on the Wales pressers.

@elisjames Two fun facts for you as we tick off the hours untill 745 tomorrow:
In UK chart history the act with the most top 40 hits without ever reaching the top 10 is Super Furry Animals with 19. The act with the most top 75 hits without reaching the top 40 is Gorkys with 8

@jonburkeUK @RobertJenrick Reform might be slowly coming around to the idea that privatisation wasn't a good thing... Very slowly though... They might have sold the NHS by the time the penny drops fully
English

@RobertJenrick Why we buy gas from Norway:
1/ Thatcher privatised North Sea gas extraction in 1982.
2/ Private companies plundered our reserves while Norway’s 100% publicly owned Statoil managed theirs strategically.
3/ North Sea oil & gas peaked in 1999 and U.K reserves are now 90% gone.

English

@ChrisBennett84 Because it makes the car less aerodynamic and you didn't have to sell a kidney for a tank of fuel in the good old days 😀
English

@policylaila Hark at Reform politicians slowly coming around to the fact that privatisation is a bad idea 😀 Remember this also applies to the NHS. Cheers

@joshpearson180 You're not in school any more. It's still quite a big deal in schools

This is how I found out Comic Relief was on last night 😂
It used to be such a huge event when I was growing up, what happened?
sᴜᴘᴇʀ ᴛᴠ@superTV247
RATINGS: #ComicRelief 2026 pulled JUST 2 million viewers for its BBC One telethon last night, the events lowest ever viewership: 2026 - 2m 2025 - 2.6m 2024 - 3.7m 2023 - 2.9m 2022 - 3.5m 2021 - 4.5m 2019 - 5.8m 2017 - 6.3m 2015 - 8.4m 2013 - 10.3m 2011 - 10.2m
English

7. Powerful marketing and branding
8. Platform for young talent
9. Perfect scheduling window
10. Global influence on other leagues
11. Consistent success since 2008

@CCFCFR1 @timcwegener @Thomas42826555 It cost a few quid for him to say whatever you want? Wow. That's what I want in a leader.
English

@H00DW33B The only thing that could stop him is I think American high school / college kids tend to stay in the collegiate system instead of doing Diamond Leagues? So he might have to wait until the Worlds next year for the competition. Unless Nike can tempt him to running Eugene...
English

@Jason_AW A bigger issue is trying to cram so many 400m races into a weekend. It only benefits the USA as no one else has their strength in depth. And would you really want to say you were a world champion on the basis that you beat the 7th and 8th best 400m runners from other countries?
English

@Jason_AW When do they sort the changeover order out? Is it after 200m of the leg? This could be changed to 300m so athletes are more likely to be in the correct order. I would also let teams choose their running order. With 3 men and 3 women on each leg, changeovers would be less crowded.
English

A chaotic mixed relay in Toruń reminds me of the 400m hurdles experiment indoors in Birmingham a few years ago.
Does this event belong at the World Indoor Champs?
