I feel like Japanese would be more common if it was an option in 1-12 schools, but atm in most schools it's Spanish, French, German, and Latin. So you'd have to study Japanese outside of school or in College, and that's just not the common unfortunately.

2 Cartoons, and Animated Short, and then a few actual Tv Shows, but each is 8 episodes max, so not all that much actually. We used to get 5-10 episodes of good TV shows a week(different shows) and they'd do 22 of each a season. This is not packed, if this wasn't artificially spread out you'd be able to watch it all, slowly at 1 hour a night, in less than a month.

I still think it's less. When you add up streaming shows and what's on network TV these days it still feels like we have less shows than we used to.
Anyone remember the USA era where we had Psych, Monk, Burn Notice, White Collar, and Leverage all at the same time basically? On a single channel!

Something is very wrong with the state of modern television if it takes nearly 4 years to make 8 episodes.
Then again, it isn’t surprising that there are no other live-action Star Wars shows currently planned. Lucasfilm is wisely moving away from an oversaturation of content.
