@first_aid_trip @linker44 if DL2 started out mid and eventually ended up on the same level as the og, I wouldn't be complaining. Games take time to develop and perfect. It didn't even come close, is the thing.

@Illid4nk To me it was the opposite story-wise. I WANTED to like it, but I couldn't, and the fact that everything came down to misunderstandings that could have been easily explained frustrated me. DL1 wasn't exactly innovative, but I'd take a story driven by a Big Bad Villain over this

@lotsofmaws DL2 was different from DL1 in many ways, some exciting, some disappointing. However I got actually invested in the story this time BUT the ending I got was so sudden and shit the bed so hard I was so mad. Also I can't believe that one e3 trailer(?) was basically the last 1-2h

@BoopyLord I'm exaggerating here but quality wise it's not a game I ever would have put more than a few hours into if it wasn't DL2. Not a fan of the parkour physics, though I've gotten used to them, the map is boring and repetitive to a fault and the story frustrating. The bugs are crazy

@DUSKdev more than deserved. I just got back from the theater, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. THIS is what movie adaptations of games should be. Everything, the writing, the performances, the audio/set design, the shots themselves, was an absolute treat. An amazing movie.
