The labeling is in the post above, not from anything the ECI has said. Any attempt to pretend that it is otherwise is manipulative as well as divisive.

If such a decision has been taken, the focus should simply be on ensuring free and fair elections without fear, pressure, or bias. But language like this only increases division and tension. Elections in a democracy are about voters choosing their representatives peacefully. Deployment of forces, whether state or central, should be about maintaining law and order for everyone not targeting or labeling any community.
