The ground staff have given no reason for the cancellation, and passengers have been told to make their own hotel arrangements. Seems particularly unfair on those who aren’t used to travelling, older people or don’t have ready cash etc 4/

Hi @Thalys_de, just had a tearful phone call with our first time travelling daughter who is on the Dortmund train without a seat reservation (a Brussels-Cologne train was cancelled). She can't find a seat, or anyone to ask about where she might find one. Can you help!?

He had told reception he was locked out and they gave him a keycard no problem, even though there was only my name on the booking. All ended fine, and I assumed PI would be mortified.

I’m visiting a friend but no room to stay as she’s moving house. So I checked into a cheap @daysinn and it’s fine. It only cost £39 so you can’t expect much. However, I have the most horrific nightmares. Yeah yeah I know you can’t blame the hotel for THAT! But stick with me…

@Isysuttie We use them to fill croissants with jam! They loved it as toddlers, and still do as teens. Pretty sure they will pass it on to their children as our one and only family tradition...
