Ran a retrospective today. My first proper post #Covid #ServiceDesign work. The workshop went well, some really great insights, and I felt really energised at the time. I am absolutely wiped out now though. Gonna be a long shift I guess.

It’s widely - misguidedly - understood that digital is somehow “greener” because it obviates paper. But that’s not necessarily true. The internet is an enormous machine, cables and wires and routers and switches and servers and clients.

If lockdown is getting to you and you haven’t already, read the Summer Book by Tove Jansson. It has passages of gorgeously intricate nature writing & echoes the way thoughts wander in childhood. It’ll take you to a tiny island in the Gulf of Finland. Go, you won’t regret it x
