Christianity ceased to be a cult when the Roman Empire ceased persecuting Christians and made Christianity the established religion of the empire. Transgenderism is a synthetic pseudo-religion that began life masquerading as a medicine (actually a cult of ritualized self-harm) and civil rights (actually an assault on the civil rights of all reality-based people) and was established as a dogma one could not question without risking one's livelihood from day one.

@lourob2 @JerrkyD @drocto @ChineseDruid @wesyang Yes, and still believe we mostly did the right thing given the info available. With some major caveats - masking, vax mandates, school closures etc. I am an Ind now and judge issue by issue - haven't jumped from one culty group into yet another.

@nickitruesdell @EruditeTogether One of the hardest things about homeschooling as you are going against social norms, at the very base level. Even family members were pushed back. But then when they see the results, they celebrate it.

I am a Christian, and I have two daughters. Both my daughters attend public school. When my daughters were old enough to go to school I felt so much pressure from the Christian culture to homeschool them. I went to public school and had a really good experience, but everyone was treating public school like it was the devils playground. I tried to homeschool my oldest in preschool and I realized how terribly unequipped I was to teach. I didn’t have the discipline, nor the mental capacity to teach from home. I think public school is great. The teachers are all so intentional, the school counselors are lovely, and their principal remembers their names and things about them. We are very involved parents. We go on field trips, take them to school events, and go to all their conferences. Honestly, public school gets way too much hate.

🚨 The Olympics Committee is reportedly planning to ban transgender and intersex athletes from women's events completely. They'd also make all female athletes undergo genetic sex testing to compete. This is a huge reversal since they dropped universal sex testing after the 1996 Olympics and have avoided blanket transgender rules for years. @MarioNawfal I think Universal testing of all female athletes will reveal that chromosomes are not as simple of a determination as we think. Lots of women (and men) have some mild degree of DSD. It doesn't effect their lives much, some are even fertile.
