BREAKING: The REAL reason for Pete Hegseth and Kid Rock's infuriating joy ride in deadly Apache military helicopters is revealed — and it's so much worse than we thought. This is how your tax dollars are being wasted... To celebrate (and advertise) the commencement of his nauseatingly titled "Freedom 250 Tour" in Dallas, Kid Rock — real name Robert James Ritchie — played a pre-show hype video of him and Hegseth riding in the Apaches. That's it. That's why they burned your tax dollars on expensive helicopter fuel and gave Kid Rock Special treatment. You can't have healthcare, childcare, or affordable housing. But Kid Rock can have his hype video. According to Variety, the video shows Ritchie arriving at an airport via private jet. Hegseth greets him on the tarmac and hugs him. "Mr. Secretary, what are you doing here, sir?” asks the washed up musician. “I’m going to your show tonight!” Hegseth says. “Awesome! Jump in, I’ll give you a ride," says Ritchie. “Well, I appreciate that. But, how about I give you a ride?” says Hegseth, at which point the video cuts to the Apache helicopters. Ritchie appears thrilled, high-fives Hegseth, and they board the aircraft. Ryan Grim of Drop Site News reported on Ritchie's private jet trip to Fort Belvoir for the Apache ride last week, but at the time it wasn't apparent that he was filming a video. Even so, it was clear that tax dollars were being exploited for partisan purposes. “Apache helicopters are not stationed at Ft. Belvoir so unclear where they came from,” Grim wrote on X. In other words, it sounds like the aircraft were transferred to the base, wasting even more fuel, just so that Ritchie could save some money on his tour's advertising budget. The choice of Apaches was intentional. Last month, Ritchie was criticized when he posted videos of Apaches flying up to his house in Tennessee for a PR stunt. The Army suspended the aircrews pending an investigation, but Hegseth immediately lifted the suspension. These aircraft cost $50 million a piece. By using these specific helicopters in a video promoting Ritchie's new tour, Hegseth is sending a clear message to the American people— He doesn't care what you think. He controls our military. He controls our tax dollars. And he's making us pay to make Kid Rock even richer. When Democrats retake power, we are investigating all of this and prosecuting every single crime we find! @hypertension57 @atrupar People are asked for their ID to verify their AGE to buy alcohol, not their CITIZENSHIP. They also do not need to pay more for an ID that shows their citizenship. When you have to pay for a special ID to vote then that is a poll tax ,which is against the Constitution

This is the question worth asking every time a story like this comes out: if there’s no money for your health care, your kids’ schools, or the programs your family depends on, where is it going?      The Trump Administration just paid $17.4 million to fix two decorative fountains outside the White House. Three years ago, the same job was estimated at $3.3 million.       And guess what? The construction company that got the contract is the same one building Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom, and they got it without any competitive bidding whatsoever. The contract wasn’t even posted publicly, as required by federal law.      So how do you get from $3.3 million to $17.4 million? They added 27% for inflation. Then they added another 24% for inflation again. Then they tacked on additional charges that federal contracting experts said they had never seen before in their careers.      And the justification for bypassing the normal bidding process entirely? The fountains needed to be ready for America’s 250th anniversary. It’s worth noting that these fountains haven’t worked for nearly a decade. @atrupar @zumalt_barbara It is illegal to require citizens to pay to vote. If documentation to get a VoterID that satisfies the requirements of the Save Act costs money, that ID is not free and requiring it is an unconstitutional poll tax.
