👀 Driver Coach Martin Villari again calls out how Max's entry won't work for these regulations. A wider entry is a recipe for diaster, and a tight line is a solution! Thoughts? #f1 #japanesegp FULL VIDEO: Link In Bio

@lowerlaptime You went from how drivers should optimise corner entry and exit on the limit, to where they should slow down to get more juice. Sad state of affairs.

👀 Driver Coach Martin Villari has spotted Max is forgoing an opportunity to harvest -350kW into Degner 2 in both practice and quali as compared to Merc engines! Thoughts? #f1 #japanesegp FULL VIDEO: Link In Bio

@RobLMyers @lowerlaptime Max' angle going into Spoons was horrible, like you mentioned in your video... another case of him simply not understanding the regs? Hadjar managing to compete with him is becoming a trend

Verstappen says it's "undriveable". But I thought that he could drive anything. I thought he could put a Haas on pole. What's going on?! #F1 #JapaneseGP

👀 Driver Coach Martin Villari suggests that downforce of 2025 masked bad habbits on the entry to spoon. The drivers are having to pay attention more to their positioning! Thoughts? #f1 #japanesegp FULL VIDEO: Link In Bio

@Qayye101 no idea lol. Could be like a DAS thing. Good for a race or 2 then either copied or banned

This might help in the Lico case? The problem w lico has always been the active aero closes, and, rear grip dealing with the -350kw. This keeps grip on the rear, and, milks the low drag for a bit longer during lico. Thoughts? #f1

@dr_obbs i might add! The big problem with the Lico is the active aero closes. So this might be a way forward! Not for flat, not for braking, but during a lift event. -350kw, supports rear, and, keeps drag low. That makes sense..?

It was clear to me that this was a designed intent from the motion seen. The advantages being that the extended Time to closure not only allows you to continue to shed a bit more drag, but you can bias the aero balance rearward for rear axle energy harvesting. This helps keep the rear more stable during the transition from regeneration load to corner entry brake application. I had originally thought they may have used the aero load to build pressure in the system as a bypass to slow the closing speed. But it looks like this is more likely a deliberate control logic with intent to deceive the regulation control via the ECU.

Vedremo #AutoRacer #JapaneseGP #F1 autoracer.it/ala-bifase-mer…

@dr_obbs Great post - Are they playing with the time in each corner? Say Melb T3, we had front lock ups all w/e - so you want front load asap..? -if you delay that while braking, it ruins braking grip. -If you delay whilst flat, no braking then no need for rear stability..? Cheers!

👀 In a new video out now on Youtube: Martin Villari explains how Max could look to make adjustments in long corners to better use the front of the car. Thoughts? #f1 #maxverstappen FULL VIDEO: Link In Bio

Since 2024, Max's line through long corners destroys front tyres! The 2026 #f1 #chinesegp was no different. In a new video out this week, he explains how Max will have to adapt his style for the new 2026 reg set in these unique situations. Thoughts? 💭 #maxverstappen #f1
