@Cambo53871561 @swannoise I'm not familiar with this, but have you considered the event you described was a pivot point where they said something had to change? That said they should have clearly stated something was changing, so it's still play pkmn's fault, but it'd for a different reason.

@swannoise Look at Henry chao vs Andrew Hedrick in finals of Atlanta. When Henry draws the game winning combo, he pops off and picks up his deck without search, as well as knocking a ralts that was in play into the discard, I’ve never seen someone complain about that, how is it different.

You aren't given a, "this match was streamed exemption" to disrupting the board. How much that matters is certainly a good debate, but the rules as written are plain and clear.

As a judge I’m not supposed to discuss ruling publicly. However, I also believe that as a judge my job is to give players a fair space to compete. If a player in a high stakes battle can lose out on thousands of dollars for shaking the table, what kind of space have we built?

@Freewer30 The player is disputing that any warning was issued. Also he claims that the rule infraction stated after his match by the judge was for throwing the headset and presenting a dangerous situation, not for anything with the table. Someone is in CYA mode, not sure the truth of it

idk why this is a hot take, but if you get issued a warning and the escalation for reincidence is a game/match loss, then the penalty given was correct

I'll be happy for when we get the rest of the items, but shield dust as item is heavily utilized for a reason. It's very very very strong

@jsketch12 I wouldn't be surprised if more flexibility is coming in the future and the delays in the Champions release cycle had more to do with unknotting some spaghetti code under the hood. Would also explain the presence of glitches on moves that didn't have issues in SV

I just realized... how are we supposed to eventually bring Calyrex and Kyurem into Champions when being fused Pokemon means they can't be put into HOME? I guess they'll either have to invent some workaround or just. make us roll for them at the roster ranch
