Excise Duty on Diesel was raised to 17.33 then to 31.83 during Covid which was 820% high. You've amassed several lakhs of Crore in taxes when the Crude price was low and raised the duties to never pass on the benefits of cheap crude during your hay days. Now you are forced to cut the duties because of the war, and you are pretending as if you are doing a favour to people of India. Now we know that what's coming next. You'll show that Govt cannot sustain and you'll raise prices as if there is no option left out. You can keep this trick in your pocket itself.

I was comforted by a nurse from Keralam who came in every hour to check on my mother. Every single hour, she would come and check on her. She would smile, and she would hold her hand. I found myself thinking about how many sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters have been comforted in their most difficult moments by nurses from Keralam. Early in the morning, I asked her, “Do you sleep at night, or do you work the whole night?” And she said, “I work all night.” So, while the whole world sleeps, women from Keralam, not only in Keralam but also in Delhi, across the country, and around the world, are comforting people, holding their hands, and making them feel at ease. Although the issue was later resolved, it once again highlights the serious technical glitches and faulty software used by the Commission, a system that has also come under scrutiny from the Hon’ble Supreme Court. How can a software maintained with taxpayers' money be so error-prone and unreliable? What concrete steps has the Election Commission taken to fix these recurring issues? Instead of addressing matters of such grave importance that affect millions of voters, the Vanish Commission is busy enabling BJP. ECI has appointed the husband of a Bihar BJP leader as Police Observer in Malda. At the same time, Central Forces are being misused as extra hands for BJP, with personnel carrying campaign materials for the party's prachar in Bankura. This is a dangerous assault on electoral integrity and on our democratic rights.
