@AJ_Wood15 I think Alex selling Tolaj who let's face it is a very good striker ultimately cost us staying up.
Now whether he forced the move i dont know but the club should have seen that without him this could happen. Also ive had enough of young loan players from bigger clubs its killed us
We weren’t even that bad tonight. He’s not perfect, but I’m 90 per cent sure we’d have stayed up if Brady was brought in earlier. At least we’ve been spared the ignominy of Tolaj and Curtis sending us down. The club shop should start stocking branded yo-yos. #PVFC
@AJ_Wood15 I think when you look at the basic mistakes today for a lot of the goals it mirrors the league form and how the team has underperformed throughout.
A long few weeks to the inevitable now.
Slick social content, commemorative shirts, and messages from former England captains is all well and good. But at the end of the day, the players still need to show up. Perhaps I’m being unfair, I just didn’t think that was anywhere near good enough tbh. #PVFC
@OfficialPVFC I dont think I've ever known a set of loan signings be a complete waste of money. There supposed to come in and improve the squad and give you a boost not make you worse!!!
@MrDtAFC@markgoldbridge Do you think now that Arsenal genuinely can bully teams in Europe so its a different game? Where as they look at the other English teams and think we can outplay them??
EMERGENCY! The Premier League is a shitshow! This obsession with corners and long throws has fucked us over in Europe where they actually play football
@1990YelrohT@OfficialPVFC Can't believe after his MOM against Blackpool, Stockley hasn't started before today, travesty in my eyes but let's hope he gets a run now.
Big 45mins coming.
@OfficialPVFC Stockley is unplayable when he’s got people around him. It’s old school crash, bang, wallop football but I’m absolutely here for it.
Can’t fault the lads. Full blooded, committed to the cause and the shirt. That’s all we ask for.

@TomPope69507931 Let's say Brady doesn't work out for whatever reason in the next 18months.Could you see a world where yourself or Duffy or both of you could come in Tom and strip it back and make it work?Or is the club past looking at former players to take charge again?
@lowndez970@benjyminty@IanDarke Yes didn't he hit previous 2 balls for 4 & got caught up in moment. I still think Aust would have come back strong after lunch. The biggest lesson to learn from Smith & Root are both probably past physical peak but when they get in they rarely get out.
Any Ashes review has to take account of the fact that Australia are way better right now. England have no bowler as good as Starc or Boland, no batsmen as good as Head , no keeper as good as Carey, and no Test-class spinner. But did England give themselves a chance ? No.
@jbgor007@benjyminty@IanDarke As bad as that was,the Starc dismissal annoyed me more because him and Jack's had a chance of something unreal.Lyon injured, dead pitch,Aus looked a bit rattled then he throws it away.
@lowndez970@benjyminty@IanDarke The Labuschagne one where Aggers simply shouted No in his best bit of commentary since the legover. Logic was there was 8 overs to New ball with part time bowlers. Could we get 6 an over ? No fielder between deep cover & long on. Somehow tennis smashed ball to deep cover
@lowndez970@benjyminty@IanDarke Hence his comment re Smith's dismissal. There was logic to the plan. It was a mistake. We all make them & as long as we learn and don't do it again that's fine. I think Pope's brain has also got scrambled. Too good to not come again under a different regime
@benjyminty@jbgor007@IanDarke Root did do Bazball in the beginning but I think even he realises now that reverse scooping isn't the way forward. Its a shame the other players around him think its ok to do as they please.
@GabSutton@MrRemoaner No Gabriel he doesn't.We have a huge league 1 squad and he,s used it terribly.Players dissappear for weeks on end and fans dont know if hes injured or not and he has constantly played good players out of position.
Nice bloke poor manager!!
Can see that. I think his people management is excellent, he can use big squads well, and he's capable of developing fantastic blueprints for those huge, one-off games using a combination of meticulous strategy and psychological framing. But if he was my team's manager, I'd want him to be surrounded with quality coaches who take care of most of the in-possession stuff.
@valetillidye@ryan_ATY I know you say promotion was great and another manager wins the league lads granted.
But just remember he played a now £1million striker on the wing for half a season before he remembered why we brought him!!
Nice bloke but he,s a poor manager.
UTV
@ryan_ATY Promotion was great.. and he signed some great players (I love George Byers) but I often wonder if promotion was despite him rather than because of
Bit of respect would go a long way from us Vale fans today. Thank you for the promotion Darren. A massive shame it hasn't worked out but we need a good crack at January and the great escape is now on. All Vale. #pvfc ⚪️🟡⚫️
@pvfcalex By all accounts his job is not under any pressure.
Staggering really, but makes you wonder what the actual plan is at this stage??But let's face it were 99% relegated now!!
I’m genuinely concerned that the hierarchy can’t see that action is needed on a team 8 points adrift, not scored a home league goal in 93 days, rock bottom of league 1, with a tactically inept manager who’s lost the fans and dressing room. At this stage its just neglect 😔 #pvfc
