The Honorable Joseph S. Jewell, Ph.D. (@JosephSJewell) was sworn in today at the Pentagon as the Assistant Secretary of War for Science and Technology (ASW(S&T)). Prior to his current role, Dr. Jewell accumulated years of experience in academic work, most recently as a professor at Purdue University. Previously he was at the University of Michigan, the University of Oxford, and the California Institute of Technology, and also served as a research scientist at the @AFResearchLab. His technical work has focused on hypersonic aerothermodynamics, flight test data analysis, and the development and operation of uniquely capable hypersonic wind tunnel facilities. "I am honored to lead this department at such a pivotal time. The future of our national security lies at the intersection of science and technology, and we will lead from the front. My focus is the comprehensive advancement of our capabilities. We will achieve this by pushing the boundaries in critical areas like hypersonics and biomanufacturing, modernizing our labs, and empowering our people. We will invest in the bold ideas needed to secure the technological dominance that gives our warfighters overwhelming advantage and ensures our nation's strategy of deterrence."

I’ll share with you this… Marco Rubio never inspired me to leave the Dem party and Republican. It was Gov Ron DeSantis who did with his leadership during COVID etc. However, currently I admire both of them. We would be lucky to have either one of the two for President of the USA 🇺🇸

Republicans didn’t lose Palm Beach—they underperformed where it mattered. Didn’t bank early votes. Didn’t turn out enough in Jupiter/PBG. Lost independents on cost-of-living + insurance. This wasn’t a wave. It was execution. Do better next time republicans. You have to work to protect our state from insanity.

Florida became a magnet for new residents over the past few years. Overdeveloping and an open door policy has consequences in our elections. We saw this yesterday. I'm going to say something very controversial that will get push back. If we vote to end property taxes, the magnet will grow in intensity and draw millions more to my state. We should really be considering adding a legacy clause to ending property taxes that only extends to Residents who have been here for 20 years and with Florida being their primary residence. We obviously need relief, but we need to consider the consequences and talk about real long-term solutions, not just quick fixes.

SORRY STATE: The student newspaper of Loyola University Chicago has issued an editor’s note apologizing for calling the alleged killer of 18-year-old student Sheridan Gorman an "illegal immigrant," saying it didn't align with their style guide or values. The editor's note reads: “No human’s existence is illegal, and we quickly changed our wording to reflect that. We acknowledge the harm such language can cause and the power and importance of the words we choose to use.”

My father fixed air, conditioners and refrigerators for a living. Do you know who the fuck I ran all of my briefs and Legal arguments by before he died? Every move I made in life, I asked for his advice. @jimmykimmel - choke on a bag of rotten working class dicks.

🚨Byron Donalds will be Florida’s next Governor—but it’s going to be a tougher fight than it should be.🚨 Not because of his record. Byron has one of the most consistently conservative voting records in Congress. He’s a proven fighter, Trump-endorsed, and could legitimately run for President one day. The problem? His skin color. There has never been a Black governor of Florida. There’s a reason for that—and I’m done tiptoeing around it. I’m seeing Republicans—actual Republicans—whisper that he’s “not electable” or quietly prefer the white guy (Jolly or whoever else) in a head-to-head. Same old story. Black conservatives have to be twice as good, raise twice as much, and still fight skepticism that they “can’t win big.” I’ve lived it. I ran for state house. I had years of faithful service, showed up to every meeting, built the groundwork. I was the better candidate. But fundraising? Crickets. Then a white woman with zero prior involvement jumps in—and instantly raises $100,000 with full party support. Look at Kentucky. Look at North Carolina. People are already saying the same thing about Vivek. We love the Republican Party, but we have a blind spot: too many Black candidates (and other non-traditional ones) get dismissed or under-supported because a wing of the party still judges by race instead of record. I’m not calling every Republican racist. Most aren’t. But that quiet prejudice exists, and it hurts us. It keeps us from nominating the absolute best people. Byron Donalds is elite. He deserves every ounce of support. If we keep choosing “safe white guys” over proven conservatives who happen to be Black, we’re weakening the party we claim to love. Time to face it head-on. No more excuses. Merit over melanin—for real this time. Who’s with me? Drop your thoughts below. Let’s have the honest conversation.

It’s unethical political grandstanding. Krasner is a Soros-backed progressive prosecutor repeatedly criticized for: • Leniency toward violent criminals, repeat offenders, and certain felonies in a city with high crime rates. • Aggressively targeting police/ICE while deprioritizing street crime. • Using inflammatory language (Minneapolis riots reference, past “Nazis” comparison) that demonizes federal agents helping keep airports safe during a shutdown. In short, he’s flexing on feds enforcing immigration/security policy while his own city’s violent crime stats have drawn widespread criticism. He’s an anti-American prick. 🇺🇸

@Cjpearson It's not elitism to want the Head of Homeland Security to have Some experience in: Counter-terrorism, military, or intelligence. Trump's appointments aren't meritocracy but a kind of DEI that only cares about how good appointees are at sucking up to Trump.x.com/Cjpearson/stat…

On April 27 this rapist is set to go free after spending just *6 months* in jail for stalking, attacking and raping a 14 year old boy in a Manhattan bodega. Never mind that this illegal alien from Colombia was already wanted in Massachusetts on robbery, prostitution and weapons charges. This boy’s life will never be the same and all this guy gets is 6 months. Total societal decay.

The subpoena released this morning by Chuck Grassley in connection with the fraudulent Arctic Frost investigation is absolutely staggering. It didn’t just ask for Kash Patel’s phone records, it asked for everything he did from 2020 to 2023. Just to name a few, they requested all usernames and screen names, every address and email, complete billing and payment details including credit card and bank account numbers, every device ID, and a full log of every call, text, and voicemail showing who was contacted, when, and for how long. They also obtained all internet session data, including the exact IP addresses. So this wasn’t just about who Kash called. It was basically a complete view of his entire life, mapping his daily routines, travel, relationships, finances, and even tracking the specific hardware he used. In short, they got a full digital shadow of his life. To have come through all of this without so much as a scratch tells you just how clean he is.
