I understand what you’re saying however, she never even told her husband. Any woman who has been through something like that would have an impact on the way they view relationships so the fact that she chose to talk about it on national TV before she privately told her husband is odd. I do think this is why people are saying that she’s weaponizing this.

People keep saying she “weaponised” her trauma while completely ignoring her actual explanation. Trauma responses aren’t always logical or directed solely at the original perpetrator. Witnessing behaviour that reminds someone of their own experience can be enough to trigger them.
