@MarkConnollyCBC If there is demand for a tower (not an empty tower please), build it. There is so much green space in the other side of the hotel. And BTW, as a downtown resident, I never see anybody using that green space. It’s under utilized land in a downtown core... along the Main Street.

Should the green space stay? Or should a tall building move in? How would you feel about having a high rise right next to the Hotel MacDonald? Let us know what you think....

@MarkConnollyCBC Most fake meat products are soy based and are trying to mimick meat. Though not your original question, eating #veg means you are reimagining meals. You’re not simply trying to replace meat with fake meat. 1- these products aren’t healthy and 2- #veg people don’t eat like that.

@MarkConnollyCBC As a #vegetarian (moving towards being vegan), I’ve never liked these animal meat names for non-meat items. I bet this started from non-veg people. Just say what it is: #veg balls not #veg meatballs. Simple + clean + true. 👌🏽 🌱

Is it wrong to label plant based protein with meat-inspired names, like soy chorizo, bean bacon and tempeh meatballs? Would you call that food appropriation? #yegfood
