High-Level Review of OCCL Projects Smt. Shubha Sarma, Principal Secretary, Department of Water Resources, chaired a high-level review meeting of Odisha Construction Corporation Ltd. today at the OCCL Conference Hall in Bhubaneswar. The meeting was attended by Er. Bighnaraj Purohit, Managing Director, #OCCL, along with senior officials who joined virtually from various sites across the state to present real-time updates on project progress. To strengthen the administrative framework of the corporation, emphasis was laid on the regular performance evaluation of outsourced personnel to ensure professional efficiency. Furthermore, to guarantee the timely completion of projects, senior officials were directed to prioritize intensive field visits and maintain rigorous oversight of work progress. A comprehensive review of budget sanctions and expenditure estimates for both completed and ongoing projects was conducted. The progress of In-Stream Storage Structures across different rivers in the state was also reviewed. The Principal Secretary directed officials to expedite key works, including the #Kanpur and #Suktel projects, before the monsoon to enable timely water impoundment.
