I just saw that and reposted his comments thank you! I was thinking of your comment about the government never admitting their abuses. A little later a few cases drifted into my mind. Congress did ferret out the torture program under Diane Feinstein's soecial committee. Thats one recent example. Daniel Ellsberg produced the Pentagon Papers (older example). A ufo related example: with help from Mike Gravel and John McCain John Burroughs did get his medical records and his emergency surgery..so there are some examples....not alot but a few important ones that changed history.

David Grusch has repeatedly hinted that if the full scope of the UAP issue became public, some aspects could be “uncomfortable,” “sobering,” or difficult for society to process. Will disclsoure include: hybridization programs, MILAB claims, or abductions? My bet has always been no because of the civil rights nightmare it would unleash on the government. I always put my money down on humanity not being alone, governments hiding information,covert programs operating without oversight, or the realization that institutions may not fully understand the phenomenon themselves. Which some of these have already been acknowledged by the whistleblowers...but without any proof I have to say the skeptics win again and again. They need to bring out a craft and let everyone see it. Full disclosure, if it is to happen, needs to unequivocally put the evidence in the public eye. Otherwise we will not be able to make the systemic changes needed. And then everything remains the same. If there is any momentum building in the full release of historical documents as we've seen with the Secrets Task Force that would be different. As I said, I don't hold out alot of hope on confirmation of any human rights abuses due to the civil rights lawsuits that would ensue..but MK Uktra was acknowledged in the 1990s. Not the full scope of the program, but there was an acknowledgement of what the CIA did.
