Tim Davie was privately educated, went to Cambridge and was a Tory candidate and deputy chair of a local Conservative Party Association. Clear case of left-wing bias. If the left wing rot's gotta stop, then we need to start with private schools, Cambridge and the Tory Party.

Last week the @Daily_Express ran with the following front page. So obviously I had to take a look! Is it true? How does it compare to other professions? Because anyone familiar with British RW media discourse knows they reserve a special venom for civil servants…🤷🏼‍♀️ 🧵 1/25

An important reminder today for Londoners: our city is - and will always be - for everyone. We will always be pro-women, pro-diversity, pro-climate and pro-human rights. These are some of the values that will continue to bind us together as Londoners.

Sorry to be that guy, but every time I say "people will die if Trump wins," someone (a man) retorts "same if Harris wins." It's not the same, and this is why. propublica.org/article/nevaeh…

It's galling how many Brits have made excuses for Trump lately. There are so many reasons to fear him, but whenever men equivocate, and then things like this happen, it's hard to conclude anything besides OK, you don't care about women's lives, then. propublica.org/article/jossel…

@HolstaT Horrific. There is no pro-life stance to defend this - the foetus had already died. This is simply not caring about a woman's life and a projection of the stigma women face for needing obstetric care or wanting agency over their bodies.

Josseli Barnica's miscarriage was underway, her 17wk fetus was not going to survive, and rather than offer an abortion to keep Josseli safe, doctors let it drag out for 40 hours, leaving her uterus exposed to bacteria the whole time. Josseli died of infection three days later.

Strongly agree, @HolstaT. Men also need to do more than not equivocate, they need to actively engage in making positive change, challenge other men, and do better. If you care, do something. Passivity is complicity.
