@lucyt_uk You only get a stamp when you enter and when you exit the Schengen zone. There is no stamp when crossing countries within the Schengen zone (such as Spain/Portugal) as the 90/180 day rule applies to the whole Schengen zone, not individual countries :)
1/2 Help needed please😊I want to get a bus from Portugal-Spain but I'm worried about not receiving an exit stamp on my passport since I've been reading things on how relaxed the border is/struggling to find any information at all.
@lucyt_uk Im no expert but I don’t think it matters because Portugal is in the Schengen area isn’t it? So if you get stamped in there and out of Spain when you leave that’s how they’ll count your days
I wanna go to Spain for 1-2 months in October, but I spent 6 weeks there March-April, I've just come back from another week there, have a week to Portugal in September, and really can't suss out this whole Schengen 90/180 day rule 😣😣😣
@lucyt_uk@RJonTourUK You're welcome. I wish you didn't have to do this - and that moving to the UK was still an (easy) option for me :-)
Another thing, if you're counting Croatia and thinking ahead, they're due to join Schengen from 1 January 2023.

@lucyt_uk@RJonTourUK This is an FAQ document from the EU External Affairs Service. They've screwed up the numbering, but the third question (labelled 2) lays out the rules for counting and the "moving window" and looking back.

@flholst@RJonTourUK Do you have any websites you've seen this info on? Because I had read that somewhere but feel as though I've just read blogs/articles, nothing too official. I'd hate to guess and book a longer trip, then be told I'm overstaying or something!
@lucyt_uk@RJonTourUK I would do it in a spreadsheet if you need to keep track of multiple countries/regions.
Also, I believe both entry and exit days count as one, so it’s all days where at least some part was spent in Schengen.
@DavidCeiriog@RJonTourUK I used two online Schengen calculators, put in the exact same dates and one told me I had time left, the other told me I would've outstayed my 90 days! So I'm not sure I trust them now 😂
@lucyt_uk@RJonTourUK There's a useful Schengen app you can download. It counts your trips for you in a given 90 days once you upload the dates. I will have been in Europe for 16 days in 90, so have 74 left in this period.
@RJonTourUK I think what's confusing me is when the 180 days start, and when another period begins if I've taken several trips throughout the year, as opposed to one block of 90 days. There's a chance I'm overthinking it though 🤔
@KCchurchbells@MichaelBuble I have had a reply from senbla today, completely ignoring my request for a refund and blaming the traffic issues on "other events" out of their control. Its disgusting.
@MichaelBuble I'm glad you were feeling the love as we certainly weren't after being stuck in the car for 4+ hours before even reaching the car park! Look at the local news. Huge numbers disappointed! Even if the decent thing is done and monies refunded, it doesn't bring the missed show back!
A day in the life. And oh, what a life it is! Thankful, blessed, and beyond excited to see all of you at the shows. Thank-you Aylesbury, you really know how to make a guy feel the love. #MBHigherTour
@TheCrocRose@realmarkkelly@AXS_UK I sent an email yesterday morning explaining what I and so many others faced with the queues and not getting to see the show, I requested a full refund and they've replied blaming other traffic issues and have completely avoided anything to do with a refund. Its awful.

Question for anyone freelance that recieves payments online (I'm a tutor thinking of taking direct payments from students). Is there a best platform for this that doesn't incur too many fees? I've heard good things about Wise. Any tips? TIA 😊
