Ukraine has exceeded every expectation in terms of liberating their country from Russian invasion and is worthy of continued increased support. My Russia sanctions bill with Senator Blumenthal can make a real difference. The legislation - with wide and deep bipartisan support - would allow President Trump to put tariffs on the top countries that buy cheap Russian oil and natural gas to prop up Putin’s war machine.   In my opinion, this summer is the time to go all in to put pressure on Putin to get to the peace table and end the bloodbath.

Brnięcie w konflikt polityków w Polsce i w Ukrainie to strategiczny błąd, na którym stracą obie strony: biznesowo, geopolitycznie i reputacyjnie. A w polityce, jak wiadomo, błąd jest gorszy od zbrodni. W rozmowach z moimi europejskimi partnerami staram się minimalizować straty i obniżać napięcie. Nie jest to łatwe zadanie.

Kolejna telefoniczna prowokacja! Tym razem straż pożarna otrzymała informację o pożarze w gdańskim mieszkaniu rodzinnym Prezydenta Nawrockiego. Jestem w stałym kontakcie z ministrami i służbami, przekazałem także wyrazy solidarności Prezydentowi. Na jutro rano zwołałem odprawę Rządu. Działania prowokatorów są wymierzone w bezpieczeństwo państwa. W nas wszystkich. @SecGenNATO @ZelenskyyUa It would make sense if you came before the monstrous Russian attacks on Ukraine. But as always and everywhere, you only react after the fact. With this approach, Putin will start bombing Brussels — and only a month later you’ll express your deep concern.

The Ukrainians have gone on the offensive. They're issuing threats and openly interfering in the Hungarian elections. Their goal is to secure funds and force their way into the European Union as soon as possible. As a member of the European Union, Hungary has the right to say no. Our patriotic government clearly says no. We do not want Hungarian families’ money to be sent to Ukraine, and we do not want Hungary to be dragged into a war. We must show that Hungarians cannot be threatened or intimidated. We are not built that way. Alongside Brussels, we send a clear message to Kyiv as well: we will not pay!
