I think it’s very important to Garnett that she is viewed as a fair judge and hears both sides - which is why she set this hearing. I think a new date will be worked out. I just pray everything goes smoothly and that people attending behave appropriately.

@mpsoccerfilm @NeverForgetDemi for the state hearings in december they let in 24. for federal, they let in like 30-40 approximately (everyone who was in line got in) with the majority going into the overflow room.

It could become a problem if it happens en masse, so if all the regular 20-something supporters decide to get press passes. This is bc there are limited seats in the courtroom, and for press, we have regular readers, deadlines, business expectations, etc. So if there are less seats for us, especially for trial when space will likely get tight anyways, that changes how we (can) do business. The Diddy supporters largely streamed outside and such, but my understanding is that Mangione supporters are looking to be in the courtroom, I hope it's not to just get close to the defendant. I don't think you should get a press pass unless you truly are press, but it's the NY press office's jurisdiction/decision.

There are now 6 people in line, all young women. 1 is press (not me; I am not waiting in the line. I likely did, however, get mistaken for a young woman supporter by Fox News once, who took my picture. They don't typically take facial photos of press by themselves)

They also request any of personal information be redacted, for him to be unshackled, and request to call witness two employees of the Altoona Police Department.
