Nobody is going to want to hear this, but I became a lot more feminine, powerful, and self-actualized after I first experienced male violence. I grew up being fed on 90s agitprop about how girls could kick ass "just like the boys" and I did martial arts and lifted weights and was athletic, so I put a couple guys in some armbars or wrist locks and thought I was tough. At 5'2 and 115 lbs I'd walk around in combat boots with a concealed ka-bar knife completely delusional in the idea that I'd be able to defend myself. But the first time I got punched in the face by a 300 lb man during a sparring match, it was like a lightbulb burst inside my head. It completely reoriented who I thought I was, and what I was capable of.
One punch. That's all it took to penetrate the fantasy I had of myself. That's how fragile it was. It's embarassing to think it went on for so long unquestioned.
I became flushed and red and quietly excused myself to the bathroom in the back of the gym, where I proceeded to fall onto the ground and sob. I became more fearful, more prescient, more aware of the power differential between me and other men. I stopped pretending that I could just get myself out of bad situations like the warrior Xena, and began to cultivate the attributes that would let me obtain real power - femininity, beauty, cautious respect, friendliness, genuine interest and empathy in others.
I'd say my life has been remarkably improved from getting punched in the face, and I am now happier and more competent in every single way.

The OPM staff is actually doing a great job, since their job isn't to make S3 look good, it's to make S3 exist. You can't give a chef 5 mins and no ingredients and expect a 5 star meal, that's stupid. It seems like it's not just empathy that eludes you, it's common sense as well.

Am I supposed to feel bad that the people that are animating One Punch Man Season 3 AS THEIR JOB, are being criticized for doing a HORRIBLE job? Wtf is this pansy as pity party response? They're just trying to guilt trip people into feeling bad for them and ignoring the dogshit animation. Guess what happens when you do a bad job in any profession? You get fired and replaced and in their case it should have happened a long time ago. Cry me a river. I hope they do disappear and never work on something that's this beloved ever again until they get their shit together and get better at their job. When fan's can animate IN A FEW DAYS after an episode has aired something that looks 100 times better than these so called "professional" animators, then there is a massive problem. I don't feel bad one fucking bit, they should be bullied out of working on this and quit and be replaced and they should remake this entire season. And before anyone comes at me saying they don't deserve this much criticism or that their feelings are hurt, content creators get sent death threats and told to kill themselves on a daily basis and I am one of them, not too mention any job that you do bad is going to be criticized. They are not special and should not be treated like little babies. MAN UP AND ADMIT THAT IT'S DOGSHIT AND YOU SUCK.

So many willfully missing the point. These animators are being worked to the bone, forced to put out half-finished art they themselves are not happy with on a brutally unfair production schedule. Personally attacking the staff is pointless. The production committee is at fault.
