@aegies You can only use an Amex if you purchase online. But yes, Amex’s extended warranty adds on to other purchased warranties (SquareTrade, etc), but tops out at 5 years total.

@jburd22 The most under-discussed element of this whole situation is the marketing. All 3 of these movies had huge marketing pushes, in contrast to most of the “harbingers” of the cinema being poor last year, which depended on bad trailers.

All this talk of streaming conditioning people to not go to the movies is blown out of proportion. The biggest issue with the box office last year was the lack of movies people wanted to make a trip to see. This year is changing that.

Avatar 2 is legging similar to the first film, Puss in Boots 2 is having amazing, almost Greatest Showman like legs due to its fantastic word of mouth (It's amazing), and M3GAN dropped less than 45% from it's debut weekend. This is what a healthy film market looks like!

@Gameonysus Idk if you have an iPhone, but if you do, using the “Bedtime” function in the alarm app rather than the regular alarm unlocks a whole different set of more gentle alarm sounds that slowly turn on and increase in volume.
