@lukeigel I think Kriss's goal is to make Cluely/Roy Lee a poster child for tech itself — the underlying message being "SF is full of these stupid kids" etc. I liked some of the endearing quotes, yes, but this sort of journalism is somewhat to blame for widespread animosity towards SF/tech

Finally got around to reading the Sam Kriss Child's Play article and I'm honestly surprised about how readily tech people are promoting it as if it's not a total infantilization of tech—a reason to hate technologists and the young people trying to build great things
