@StevensonLDN @MLPS911 What's sad is not one of our city's tax-funded agencies or outreach organizations ( aka poverty industry) including LICH bothered to diagnose such extreme 'common conditions' listed above. Aren't they the front line? But blame Susan.

At the @MLPS911 Board meeting today, one of the reports was on #LdnOnt’s warming centre at Boyle Memorial Community Centre. “Within the first days of deployment, Community Paramedics provided treatment for multiple individuals with significant medical needs, including life-saving antibiotics and wound care for patients who declined hospital transport. In other cases, critical illness was identified, patients were stabilized, and rapid transport to hospital was arranged. Common conditions observed included frostbite, cellulitis, gangrene, open wounds, hypothermia, and advanced infection. City officials have since communicated that the presence of Community Paramedics at the warming centre has directly contributed to saving lives and reducing medical risk among a highly vulnerable population.” Deep gratitude for the work of the paramedics is combined with a deep sadness for the state of this humanitarian crisis in our City….

He’s 100 years old. He fought in a war that most of us today can barely imagine. He saw his friends, many just boys, go off to fight and never return. He’s carried those memories for a lifetime. And recently, on live television, he broke down and asked a question no veteran should ever have to ask, “Was it worth it” When the men who sacrificed everything for freedom now look at the state of their country and wonder if that sacrifice still matters, it should make all of us stop and think. Remembrance isn’t just a poppy on a lapel or a minute of silence once a year. It’s a responsibility, to honour their legacy by protecting the values and freedoms they fought for. Our culture. Our freedoms. Our sense of community and national identity. If we stop respecting those things, if tradition loses meaning, if honour and pride are dismissed as outdated, then we risk forgetting what they stood for. We don’t honour the fallen by remembering them once a year, we honour them by living in a way that keeps their sacrifices meaningful. By standing up for our country, our values, and our way of life. He wasn’t crying out of weakness. He was crying because he remembers the cost of forgetting.

@ToddDevlin @StevensonLDN It was a serious question.. do you have an educated answer? No troll here, Todd. That would be my real name. If you could answer my original question perhaps others can take you seriously.

“The truth is, harm reduction without recovery is not a safety net, it’s a hammock. Comfortable for government, convenient for bureaucrats, but fatal for the poor souls it pretends to help.” Time for a course correction in #LdnOnt to focus on and support recovery?

@thekylefree @NoraBareknuckle @StevensonLDN Nora is Andrea Sereda. This is a sock account she uses when she doesn't want the public to know how much of a piece of shit she really is. She is the most unethical clinician in Southwestern Ontario. A repugnant dope dealer at best.

This is a dedicated and valued heritage district business area, across from an Ethiopian church, just over a block from a grade 5-8 school, kitty corner to an elementary school bus stop and with residential tenants paying rent to live at this corner. And of course, hundreds more living within a block in residential homes and apartments. Families with young children, seniors, people with disabilities, etc. This is one of only 14 or 15 locations on a list of zero-tolerance encampment areas (that were to be proactively enforced) as per our Whole of Community System Response. And yet, those living and working here feel that they get very little reprieve from the ongoing daily issues. Residents (and property owners) in the area are asking me why this has been allowed to continue…..for years. Many residents believed that the Whole of Community System Response was going to address the safety and over-saturation concerns of the neighbourhoods most impacted by our City’s decisions to fund so many social service programs for homeless individuals in this area. Residents express disappointment in this. Even the report going to Committee today on the $437,050 contract to London Cares for the Queens & Adelaide location, states that “The Whole of Community System Response is a roadmap to help the most marginalize Londoners move safely inside, become stabilized, supported, and connected to the right housing, and to help them stay housed.” And yet in 2023 when this initiative was approved by Council, the report’s first page said “Throughout 2022, Londoners from all sectors and backgrounds said loud and clear that something needed to change, to save lives, to better deliver healthcare and housing for the most marginalized community members in London, and to address the whole of community impacts of this crisis.” It’s the last part that residents feel gets left out. Many Londoners are more concerned about this issue than they were 2.5 years ago when the initiative to solve this crisis was first launched. #LdnOnt

It is important to take the time and give honour where honour is due. #LdnOnt Last week, members of @lpsmediaoffice were honoured for their incredible service: 20, 30 & 40 years for police, peace officers, police professionals and auxiliary police, Chief of Police Commendations and Chief’s Award of Excellence in Community Safety (first on scene and life saving actions that made a full recovery possible). Held at @RBCPlaceLondon and attended by several members of the @ldnpoliceboard, Councillors and MPs.

@StevensonLDN If this is a genuine concern for you, why do the HART Hubs you advocate for not provide needle exchange? Also, this is a fake pic - never has anyone ever discarded a whole cardboard box of needles anywhere lol.

There is a growing concern about the number of discarded needles found within our community. I have asked: - Is the 48% return rate for 2024 consistent with previous years? Is it consistent with other municipalities? How can we increase this percentage? - How many needles were returned between Jan-Jul 2025? - What is the cost for needles and harm reduction kits (including naloxone) from 2022-2024? Any other questions about #LdnOnt’s needle exchange program?

A little reminder that the complaint made by #LdnOnt social service agencies was “tossed out” “In its decision Principles Integrity concluded, “We do not find the councillor’s posts in any way abusive or insulting, nor do we find that they in any way bring the city into disrepute or damage public confidence in the city.” Stevenson expressed a sense of vindication to CTV News, “This has given me approval to continue doing what I'm doing, advocating on the issues that matter to the residents -- these public safety issues.”

@BerniceC @StevensonLDN Except in this case the complaint wasn't filed by the poverty industry (social agencies) was it? Stop changing the narrative. The poverty industry, mainly Sereda, and other unscrupulous individuals living off the impoverished were responsible for this fu c king waste of time

@StacyLoucks2 @StevensonLDN She also posts from her "Nora Bareknucklehead" account all day everyday. Where does she find the time to play on social media while our city is in a drug crisis? When she's called out for spreading disinformation, she will block you. This helps her continue to her echo chamber.

#LdnOnt this is the current policy (Council approved) for our Hubs & Highly Supportive Housing (allowing drug use inside the buildings at taxpayer expense)…. Time for a course correction?
T Wolf 🌁@Twolfrecovery

30% of all OD deaths happen inside "supportive housing." Maybe it's because we allow drug use inside those buildings all at taxpayer expense. This is state policy in CA. OR. WA. and CO. @InstituteCicero

Like Veronica, I am concerned that “the Integrity Commissioner process can, at times, be used in ways that discourage dissenting voices or become a tool in political dynamics.” The process followed for both of the Integrity Commissioner findings against me are currently being investigated by the Ontario Ombudsman. There is something very wrong when so many of us (particularly women) who “step forward to serve with good intent” do not find municipal politics to be a transparent, accountable, respectful or inclusive environment. That needs to change. #LdnOnt
Veronica Charrois@VCharrois

On July 4, I presented to the Standing Committee on Bill 9, advocating for safeguards that ensure the Integrity Commissioner process remains fair & cannot be misused. It's vital we protect those who serve with good intent in a respectful, transparent political environment. #bill9
