The abuse which has been normalised against Jewish and Israeli friends in recent months is appalling. The silence from so many and the jumping on bandwagons that spread casual hate is a point of such shame. As a gay person, I know what living in a hostile environment feels like. I will not stand by as the same is done to British Jews. And frankly I think there are a lot of people I know that need a wake up call about the casual prejudice they are supporting, while thinking they are righteous.

BREAKING: In Hackney 🇬🇧, a male suspect onboard a bus threatened Jewish passengers, shouting “Shame Hitler didn’t kill you” and “You should all go in the gas chambers”, while making threats to kill Jewish children and claiming to have a knife. The bus driver stopped the bus, activated the emergency alarm, and detained the suspect.
