It's not cyclical. The inflation in the 1970s was the spending in the 1960: the Vietnam War and the Great Society. Hardly cyclical. It was followed by the decision by Nixon to send grain to Russia. Again, hardly cyclical. That was followed by the oil embargo and price hikes. Hardly cyclical. When you learn something about US economic history, let me know. Until then, STFU.

I mostly stopped going to expensive restaurants. It's overrated. Yeah, kind of cheesy. We do still go out sometimes and we have more fun at Chili's than the fancy places - because it's just a good time and not performative bullshit.
